African/African Related Dance and Drum Classes in and around Los Angeles.

Remember, Sunday 2/24 we will host the 3rd Annual Jamalaye-Ubuntu African dance, drum, and culture workshop, in celebration of African-American history month.  Along with African language classes, fashion, and an African Market Place we will offer African and African-American food and drink. We will also feature an African tea and coffee bar.  The tentative dance and drum class schedule is 1-2:30pm Naby Bangoura will teach Guinee dance, 2:30-4:00pm Congolese drum class, 4:00-5:30pm Vivien Bassoumina will teach Congolese dance, and 5:30-7pm Lamine Thiam will teach Senegalese Sabar dance.

Wednesday, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, and 2/27 Babacar will have his Sabar dance class at Debbie Allen Dance Academy - 3791 Santa Rosalia ave., Los Angeles, CA 90008

Sunday 2/3, /10, and 2/17, and 2/24 Babacar will have his Djembe West African Dance class at Crenshaw Yoga and Dance - 5426 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90047.
