THE 4TH ANNUAL JAMALAYE-UBUNTU AFRICAN DANCE DRUM AND CULTURE FESTIVAL IN LOS ANGELES.

Stay tuned about the annual Jamalaye-Ubuntu African Dance Drum and Culture Festival, every February.  We will be inviting other guest before that time and hosting dinner parties, shows, etc.  Check on my facebook page and/or become my friend "LaToshia Woods" or check on this blog regularly for updates.  Also, please like my Facebook page "Feb 2014 4th Annual Jamalaye-Ubuntu African Dance and Drum Festival"  The official date of the Festival will be Sunday, February 23, 2014, from 10am to 4pm.  The location will be Darby Park, 340 W. Arbor Vitae St. (Just West of Crenshaw and Arbor Vitae)  (Arbor Vitae is between Manchester and Century, near the Forum).  You can call me at 323/919-4595.  Visit www.jamalaye-ubuntu.blogspot.com for additional info like vendors, seminars, etc.  10-11am Francis Awe will teach Nigerian Drumming 11-12:30 Soro Solo will teach Ivory Coast Drumming.  12:30-1:45pm Pape Diouf will teach Sabar Drumming 1:45-3:15pm Pape Diouf will teach Djembe drumming.  11-12:30 Omowale Orisayomi will teach Nigerian Dance.  12:30-2:30 Oumo Diamanka will teach Djembe dance 3-4:30pm Coura Ndiaye will teach Sabar.
